Can I pay monthly with an ai12z subscription?
Yes. ai12z offers both monthly and annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are priced higher, while annual subscriptions offer a lower overall cost and are paid upfront for the year.
When does my ai12z subscription start?
Service begins after payment is received. For purchase orders, this means the subscription is activated once the invoice has been paid.
Does the agent count include development agents?
Yes. The agent count includes all agents, including production, staging, testing, and development agents.
If my plan includes 2 agents, can I also have a separate development agent?
A separate development agent counts as an additional agent. If your plan includes2 agents, it coverstwo total agent environments. To add a development, staging, or testing agent, you would need to upgrade by adding an additional agent or moving to a larger package.
Why do I see “Production requires a paid subscription” on my bot?
This message appears when the agent is not licensed for Production use. This usually means the agent is currently inPay As You Go development mode or is part of afree 30-day trial.
Can I use the bot while in Pay As You Go?
Yes. Pay As You Go allows you to build, configure, test, and evaluate the agent inDevelopment mode. It is not intended for Production use.
How do I choose the right subscription?
Start with the capabilities and capacity you need: agents, vector documents and CMS connections. Then estimate the credits required for questions, AI Visibility reports and other AI activity.
Choose a plan that meets both your configuration requirements and expected usage. Our team or your implementation partner can help estimate the appropriate package.
Can I purchase additional credits without changing my plan?
Yes. You can purchase prepaid credit add-ons during your subscription term and stay on your current plan. Additional credits expand your usage allowance; they do not increase agent, document or connector limits or unlock capabilities reserved for higher plans.
When does it make sense to upgrade instead of buying credits?
A credit add-on is useful for a temporary increase in activity, such as a campaign or a one-time reporting project.
A larger subscription usually makes more sense when you regularly need additional credits, exceed your current capacity limits or require capabilities available in a higher plan.
What happens when I upgrade during my subscription term?
The remaining unused value of your current package is credited toward the larger package, and a new 12-month subscription term begins.
Can I use AI Visibility without adding a chatbot or replacing my website search?
Yes. You can keep your existing website experience and use ai12z to ingest your content, evaluate answer quality, run AEO/GEO reports, monitor citations and create Action Plans.
You do not need to deploy an ai12z chatbot or AI Search control to use these capabilities.
Can I see how my credits are being used?
Yes. The ai12z platform provides usage tracking, cost breakdowns and credit-balance information so you can monitor consumption and plan additional credits or an upgrade.
Is European hosting available?
Yes. ai12z offers shared European hosting in AWS Ireland. Other regions and dedicated environments can be scoped separately. Contact us to discuss your hosting and data-residency requirements.
How long does implementation take?
Implementation timelines vary by solution and deployment complexity. Organizations can begin using the AI Visibility & Optimization Suite immediately to assess how they appear in AI search, establish a baseline, and identify recommended improvements.
Many organizations can launch a focused AI search or digital assistant experience within hours or days. More advanced deployments involving multiple business units, integrations, governance requirements, or custom AI experiences may benefit from a phased rollout.
What is a vector doc?
A vector doc is a piece of content that has been ingested into ai12z and converted into a searchable AI-ready format. This allows the agent to retrieve relevant information when answering user questions.
Examples of vector docs may include:
- Web pages
- PDF content
- Help articles
- Knowledge base articles
- Product pages
- Documentation pages
- Other ingested content sources
Do you offer month-to-month billing?
Yes. ai12z offers month-to-month subscriptions as well as annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are priced at a higher rate, while annual subscriptions offer a lower overall cost.
Does one web page equal one vector doc?
Not always. Depending on the size and structure of the content, a single page or file may be split into multiple vector documents so the AI can accurately retrieve the most relevant sections.
Does the vector doc limit apply per agent or per organization?
The vector doc limit applies to the entire organization, not to individual agents. All agents within your organization share the same pool. You can view your total vector doc usage across the organization inOrganization Settings.
Can I use the bot during the free 30-day trial?
Yes. The free trial allows you to test ai12z before purchasing a paid subscription. During the trial, the agent is not considered a paid Production agent.
What is an ai12z credit?
A credit measures usage across ai12z’s AI models and services. Each subscription includes a credit allowance, with 100 credits representing $1 of billable usage. AI Search, chatbot answers, AI Visibility reports and other metered services draw from the same credit pool.
Is one credit equal to one question?
No. The credits used by a question depend on the model, the amount of content processed and the length of the answer. Published question estimates are planning guides, not fixed question limits.
For example, a typical GPT-4.1-mini question uses approximately 3.16 credits under standard direct-customer pricing. Actual consumption varies with the configuration and complexity of the request.
Do different AI models use different amounts of credits?
Yes. More expensive models and requests that process or generate more content generally consume more credits. Your credit pool gives you flexibility to use different models and services within the same subscription.
When do I need Business or higher instead of Growth?
You need Business or higher if you require personalization, directives, SSO, HIPAA-related capabilities, custom integrations or persona intent. You may also need a larger plan when your agent, vector-document or CMS-connection requirements exceed Growth’s limits.
AI Visibility, including AEO/GEO, is available across all subscriptions.
How are additional credits priced?
Additional credits are priced at 1.5 times the rate of credits included in an annual subscription. For example, under standard direct pricing, 100,000 additional credits cost $1,500.

Can I add another agent without upgrading my subscription?
Yes, an additional-agent add-on may allow you to remain on your existing plan. Standard pricing is $1,000 per agent annually, with proration for the remaining subscription term where applicable.
Contact ai12z or your provider to confirm availability for your package. Adding an agent does not change your other plan limits.
Does website traffic determine my subscription?
No. ai12z does not restrict subscriptions by annual site visitors. Your package is determined by its capabilities, capacity limits and credit allowance. AI activity consumes credits; website visitor counts alone do not determine your tier.
Are AI Visibility reports included in my subscription?
AI Visibility capabilities are available across all subscriptions. Running reports and other metered AI operations consumes credits from your plan’s shared allowance. Your credit needs will depend on the scope and frequency of your analysis.
Do you offer implementation and support services?
Yes. ai12z offers service packages for implementation and ongoing support. Many customers work with an ai12z partner for configuration, integrations, content improvements and ongoing AI Visibility services.
Are AI Visibility reports available in Pay As You Go?
Yes. You can run each AI Visibility report once in Pay As You Go to evaluate the platform and explore its findings.
Partners can use these initial reports to identify opportunities and start conversations with prospective clients. Prospects can assess their content and AI visibility before choosing a subscription. A subscription is required for ongoing reporting and analysis.
